Contracts, deals, and activation opportunities are tailored to each athlete and their unique contributions. Every agreement is individually negotiated and personally signed by the athlete.

Student-athletes must adhere to University of St. Thomas' standards and NIL policies, which include refraining from entering into an agreement for the endorsement of certain categories of goods and services (for example, alcohol, drugs, gambling, political campaigns, or any agreement that violates any of St. Thomas' agreements). In addition, agreements must provide disproportionate vaue and cannot be tied to team participation or athletic performance.

While ELEVATE cannot prevent an athlete from leaving UST, and agreements cannot be contingent upon an athlete's enrollment at UST, every agreement incorporates clauses in which student-athletes are compensated based on the value and timing of an athlete's endorsement.
